New Guild Rules
Guild rules and the Raiding Code.
Guild Rules
- Respect is mandatory. Treat all members as equals. Be thoughtful of others even when joking.
- Personal Integrity and Maturity are expected. Don't start drama. Childishness and melodrama has no place here.
- Do not "grief" other players. Don't attempt to ruin the game for others.
- Ask not what the guild can do for you, ask what you can do for the guild. Members are expected to work together for the betterment of all. Don't expect more than you give. There are many ways to contribute to improve the community we are trying to build.
- All activities involving the game are voluntary. No demands should be put upon any player's time or resources.
- Be supportive. If you give, you are going to receive. We are a team.
- Need before Greed. Always.
When in a guild only group, the
need before greed code is always in effect. Selfishness is not
tolerated.
- Uphold the good reputation of the guild. Our reputation should make our members proud, and other people happy to have us around. Don't let your guildmates down.
- WTF. For the most part we are all adults in this guild, but please be respectful that some are offended by certain language. Be respectful. No foul language in ventrilo and guild chat, of any language. - Racial, homophobic, severley sexual or severely abusive language will not be tolerated and will result in a report to a GM and a kick
If you feel like any of these rules are being broken, please report it to Talaan, Bottle or an officer.
Break any of these rules yourself and expect a warning, continued abuse will lead to a kick.

Trials for New Recruits
- All new members are subject to a trial period, which will be based on; their willingness to play as part of a team and their social maturity. If we feel you're not capable of both of these, you will fail your trial.
- During trial periods, new recruits will eligible to earn DKP, but when it comes to buying items, Full guild members will get priority. Loot will be passed down to new recruits providing no-one else wants the item.
- Loot hunters will be removed without notice.
- Trial periods can last from a fortnight, to a month. We'll review it when we feel the time is right and feel that you've become part of our community.
Raiding Code (updated 30th October '08):
- Raid Obligation. Attendance to any raid is nonobligatory and voluntary. Raids will be planned on phpRaider. Try to be prompt in turning up for invite time, if you're going to be late, put it on your signup comment. And if you're late, don't moan if your spot was taken!
If you signup to a raid, we expect you to be able to stay until at least 11:30pm (Server). If you don't think you can raid until the expected finish time, please put this in the signup comment and inform the raid leader before the raid has begun. - What time is it? All raid are planned by Server Time (CET).
- Raid preparation. For 25 man content. it shows shows good dedication to be "flasked up" and well fed. If you're a mana user, please bring enough mana potions! As a guild we will try to help out with flasks and pots, but remember.. If you give, you are going to receive. We are a team. Turning up to a raid with either PvP on or 10% durability then asking to repair after a wipe is poor preparation!
- Creating Raids. Only officers and raid leaders are allowed to plan raids, If you wish to create a raid to somewhere that is under DKP, an officer must be present for a guild run.
- In-game Mods & Ventrilo. Ventrilo is required for raids, along with Omen and either BigWigs or Deadly Boss Mod. Links for these can be found on the forums.
- The Basics.. We all know them! No combat looting, attack targets in the kill order and go only on the Raid Leaders go.
- Internet Connection. Some nights your ISP is your worst enemy, not your fault, we know it's happened to us all! But if your connection is dodgy during a raid, the raid leader can replace you at will.
- AFK. If you must go AFK during a run, you must notify the raid leader with an expected return time in a PM.
- Raid Leaders. You must respect the raid leaders instructions and follow them though, and the raid leaders decision is final. If you have any problems, take it up in a whisper, NOT raid chat or vent!
- Situations not covered by rules. Should a situation arise that is not covered in the Guild, Raid or DKP rules (or has not been decided on yet), the raid leader and officers will make a judgment call in the interest
of fairness and guild progression.
- But most importantly of all, We're all in this for fun! Gear is nice, but a secondary concern. Any drama over loot in raids will not be tolerated, if you have a problem about anything in a raid, take it up with Talaan or an officer.
