I woke this morning to get ready for work like usually, put on my pants and shirt while half asleep, slurrped down a cup of tea and staggered out of the front door. Once outside something was very different, the whole place was covered in snow! We've not had snow in my parts for many a year, so it was very exciting for me. I tried to drive my car up the little hill to get to work but slid all the way back down again. I didnt try to hard to get up there a second time and thus a day off of work was my prize!

I went for a walk and the park was full of kids with there parents playing and building snowmans, people who walked passed me said 'hello' and 'good morning', usually people say nothing, it seems snow bought good feelings out of everyone today!
